Yoga:

Hatha Yoga Class. Suitable for all levels of experience. The class includes mindful movement, breath awareness, breathing work, mindfulness, relaxation and meditation techniques. It is a slower paced class designed to calm, bring focus, improve self-awareness as well as improve mobility and flexibility. 

Chair Yoga:

Chair Yoga is a gentle and accessible form of yoga practiced while seated or using a chair for support. It’s ideal for individuals with limited mobility, balance concerns, or anyone looking for a softer, supportive way to enjoy the benefits of yoga—improving flexibility, strength, and relaxation in a safe and comfortable setting.

When and where does this take place?

Classes are held twice a month on Fridays at 10am in the wellbeing hall at the Mind Ystradgynlais building. Each month includes one traditional yoga session and one chair yoga session, offering something for everyone.

Yoga Sessions

We are pleased to offer two types of yoga classes:

Mat Yoga – £6 per person

A more active practice on the mat, designed to stretch, strengthen, and relax. Booking is required directly with Paula at paulabeeforth6@gmail.com

These Yoga classes have been wonderful for helping me with my mobility issues and mental health. Paula is wonderful at making me feel included in her classes- as I struggle with some movements. I always feel better when I leave! -EJ

I feel very uplifted, positive and with a good mindset during, and after, Yoga with Paula. When I have been unable to attend during periods of illness, I have really missed it. The group is small but very supportive and encouraging to each other.
